Edit: Okay, Ed's eyes were seriously creepy, and I thank ~TobuIshi for pointing it out. Also fixed some other stuff that were bugging me, while I was at it. Even while broken, the Sakura Opaque White Ink does wonders. :happycry:

Edit #2: OHGOD How many times did I edit this picture and scan and clean it only to notice yet another flaw?

This is a future scene from a fic of her's, the fic is called On The Account.

In the fic, Ed's a pirate captain, and Winry's been forced to join the crew thanks to an AU re-enactment of the whole Liore incident and Winry trying to help Rose. xD Ahh, fun fic so far. Needs more updates. :<

Mmmm, the new copics sketches aren't bad, and my faithful old prismacolours are awesome as ever. Colouring this was both love and pain.

I seriously worked on this for the past two weeks... well, not straight. but lesseee, first I used a light table to have a nice, clean, non-sketchy version of this on bristol board, hoping to paint it...

But Gouache is such a bitch. D:<

So then since school was over I had to use my brother's plasma screen computer monitor laid down, as a make-shift light table. And then inked it again. Well, it did the job.

So yeah, Prismacolour markers, Copic Sketch markers, Copic multiliners, Sakura micron pens, and JellyRoll white gel pen (with a bit of my broken Sakura Opaque White Ink pen).

Why yes, I was going for the original manga-style here.

This is great. I mean, wow. So pretty. And everything's so well done and detailed, and I've always loved your colorings, but this is the best so far, and...

There's about million little things and details that look just great.

And awww, Al and Mei in the background <3

Oh man. Spending the last two weeks on this really paid off, because this is amazingly beautiful. ^^

My faaaavorite parts, I think, are the feathers in Ed's hat, and the flower in Winry's hair. x3 You colored them so prettyyy.

Oh - And Winry's dress. I WANT IT.

The best part about this is your art style -- you'll be doing it for years, and now it's so awesome. It's not cliched, it's very real and detailed, and even though I miss the chibi-art you did (;__;), this is even better.

So. colouring's as awesome as ever, especially the clothing and the details -- the gossamer sleeves, Ed's always-there red coat, the feathers... you know what I mean. I think his eyes look a little weird, but that's just me -- it just looks a little too big for his face, but I don't think it's that important.

And Al and Mei and... and panda-thing running away! :D

The only real quip I have with it is About To Be Robbed Guy's shadow (it looks a little too short, but again: you're the person going to art school and learning about perspective, not me) and Winry's shoulder looks a little bony. (O_o)

But still, love it and all the little details you put into that. And for some reason, I think their hands and the costuming is perfect. Heh.
